Macale Bio Seeds Private Limited is based in Muzaffarpur, over in the Sadar area. We have our main spot at Po-Ramna, but we are also connected to Ratwara in Majhauli through Archana Kumari. It’s a bit of a spread-out operation because we have to be where the seeds are being tested and grown. Dharam Das and the rest of the team are usually out near the fields in the Muzaffarpur-Muzaffarpur area. We aren't a big, polished company with a lot of fancy advertising. We’re mostly just a bunch of people who spend our time looking at plants and figuring out which seeds will grow best in this soil. Muzaffarpur is famous for its land, so we have a lot to live up to. Sometimes the weather in Ward No-13 gets a bit intense, but we just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of dirt and a lot of waiting for things to sprout. We meet at the office to go over the records and plan for the next planting cycle. We don't use a lot of complicated language to describe what we do. It’s just about getting good seeds into the hands of people who need them. We try to be helpful and stay honest about what works and what doesn't. It’s just us doing our part in the local farming community.
