You can find us right in front of the Indian Oil Petrol Pump in the village of Kurhani. We are located near the Rajla Post Office, right along the Patna Muzaffarpur Highway. It’s a very busy road, so there is always a lot of noise and movement from the big trucks going between the two cities. Our shop is basically an open yard where we do all the casting. We spend our days dealing with sand, gravel, and bags of cement. It is honest work that keeps us on our feet all day long. We don't have any polished sales pitch or a corporate office. It’s just us, the molds, and the drying products lined up in the sun. People usually pull over while they are stopping for fuel across the street. We talk to them about what they need for their houses or their farms. It gets quite hot out here, especially in the afternoons, but that’s good for the cement to set. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets a bit much, but we don't mind it. We’ve been at this location for a while and most of the locals in the district know our faces. We just try to make enough items to keep the yard full and the customers happy. It’s a basic life, but we like being our own bosses and working with our hands in the village every single day.
