Deepak Cement Bhandar

You can find Deepak Cement Bhandar right on Yadav Nagar Road. We are part of the Swami Shajanand Colony area, though most people around here just say Yadav Nagar. It is a decent neighborhood and we have been here since the roads were still being paved. We spend most of our time moving cement bags from the trucks into the store. It is heavy work and the dust gets into your clothes no matter how careful you are. We keep the bags stacked high against the walls to make the most of the room we have. The floor is usually white with cement powder. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We know most of our customers by name because they live just a few streets away. When someone is building a house nearby, we see them every other day. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the supply from the factory is slow, and we have to tell people to come back the next day. It’s a bit frustrating but that’s just how the business works. We have a small wooden table where we do the billing. It’s a bit old and the drawers stick sometimes. We just keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about the small things that go wrong.
