I.S.M. International School

Our school is located near B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University on the Chhata Chowk Damauchowck Road. It is a mouthful of an address, but in Muzaffarpur, people just know the area. Being so close to the university gives the place a different feel. I.S.M. International School sounds very formal, but we are actually quite down-to-earth. The traffic on Damauchowck Road can be a nightmare in the mornings. We spend a lot of time managing the gate so everyone gets in safely. Inside, it’s a bit more organized. We have different floors for different ages. The walls are covered in posters that have been there for years. We don't have a fancy website with professional photos. Most of us just use our old phones to take pictures of school events. We aren't a corporate chain. We are just a local school in 842001 trying to do our best. The staff room is always full of tea cups and stacks of papers to grade. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Some people think we are part of the university, but we are our own thing. We have students from all over Muzaffarpur coming here. It gets very busy during the admission season. We just take things one day at a time. It’s a lot of walking up and down stairs, but it keeps us busy. We like the energy of this neighborhood and the people we meet every day. It keeps us going.
