Hare Krishna Marbels

Our place, Hare Krishna Marbels, is situated on Pusa Road, right across from the Sharma Mill. It’s a pretty easy landmark to spot. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while, dealing with all kinds of marble for local building projects. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have the slabs lined up so people can walk through and see the patterns. It’s mostly just us and a couple of workers who help with the heavy lifting. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the trucks going to the mill, but we just keep the shop open and deal with it. We don't have any polished brochures or a big website; most people just walk in and ask what we have in stock today. Sometimes we get a big shipment in and the whole yard gets crowded, and other times it’s a bit thinner. We try to keep a range of stuff so there is something for different budgets. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We talk to the contractors who come in regularly and we know what they usually look for. We don’t try to push anyone into buying anything. They usually know what they want anyway. We just help them find the right pieces and get them loaded up onto their tempos or trucks without any trouble or wasted time.
