Dhanganga Granites

We’re set up on Akharaghat Road, right near the Krishna Petrol Pump. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the pump is. We have been working with granite for a long time. Our yard is full of different slabs of stone. Some are dark, some are light, and they all come from different places. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving these heavy pieces around so people can see the colors and the grains. The dust is something you just get used to after a week or two on the job. We get a lot of people who are building their first house and they aren't quite sure what they want. We just show them what we have and tell them how it wears over time. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one. The traffic on Akharaghat Road is constant, so there’s always noise from the trucks and bikes. Sometimes we’re out back cutting stone and can’t even hear the phone ring. We try to be helpful and honest about what we have in stock. If a slab has a crack or a weird spot, we point it out to the buyer. No point in hiding it. Most of our customers come from word of mouth. Someone’s neighbor got a countertop from us and liked it, so they come by too. That’s how we’ve kept going all these years without much fuss or bother.
