Dcr Bricks Industry

We are over in Village Post Kanti, right near the Rameshwari Devi Collage. It's a quiet area mostly, but the brickwork keeps us moving. The college is the main landmark people use to find us. We spend a lot of time out in the yard. Making bricks is hard work and it gets messy. You can't really avoid the mud and the red dust when you're doing this day in and day out. Our family has been around this part of Kanti for a long time. The setup here is basic. We have the kilns and the space to dry everything out. It depends a lot on the weather. Rain is usually a problem for us, so we watch the sky a lot. When it’s dry, we’re out there from early morning until the sun goes down. Most people around here know us by now. It’s not like those big companies in the city. We just do our work and talk to the neighbors. Sometimes the trucks come in late to pick up loads. We try to keep things organized but with bricks, there’s always something shifting around. If you walk past the college, you’ll see the stacks. That’s where we are. It’s just a regular village business. Nothing more to it really. We just keep the wheels turning and stay busy with the day to day tasks. It’s a long day usually but we manage.
