Garg Marble & Paint Store

You can find us over at Shop Number 80/8 in Lamba Bazar. We are right on Meerut Road, not far at all from the Dena Bank. It is a very busy stretch of road with a lot of noise. We keep both marble and various types of paint in the shop. It might seem like a bit of an odd mix to some, but it works for us and our customers. People often come in for a tin of paint and end up looking at the stone slabs we have leaning against the walls. The shop is usually full of cans, brushes, and heavy pieces of stone. It smells like fresh paint and wet rock in here most days of the week. The traffic on Meerut Road never really stops, so you hear horns all day while we are mixing colors for people. We try to keep the place organized, but it is tough with the dust and the heavy inventory. My hands are almost always stained with some kind of color. We are just a local shop, nothing fancy or polished. We know most of the families who live around Lamba Bazar. They stop in for small things or just to say hello. We do not do much advertising at all. People just see the sign when they are heading to the bank. It is a simple life and we have been here long enough that everyone knows the Garg name.
