Akj Stone Enterprises

We are set up over at Budhana Mod in Khanjapur, which is on the Main Shamli road. We are pretty close to Dallu Devta, so that is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Our business is all about stones, and we have plenty of them piled up in the yard. It gets pretty muddy when it rains, and very dusty when it is dry, but that is just part of the job we do. We spend most of our time outside moving things around or talking to the guys who drive the tractors and trucks. It’s a local operation, nothing too fancy. We do not really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory. People from around Shamli often stop by when they are building something new. We just show them what we have on the ground and let the stone speak for itself. Every piece has its own look, and we don't try to hide the natural flaws or patterns. We have been here at Budhana Mod for a while and we like being part of the local scene. It is a lot of manual labor and long hours, especially during the hot summer months. We just focus on keeping the yard organized and making sure the orders get out on time to the customers. It is a straightforward business and we do not try to make it seem more important than it actually is.
