Saha Steel

Our place, Saha Steel, is right at 3, Banjetia. It is easy to find if you know where the Cossimbazar post office is located. We are in the Berhampore area. My family has been doing this for a while now. The shop isn't anything special to look at. It is just a lot of steel rods and sheets piled up. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they are building a fence or fixing a roof. We spend a lot of time moving heavy stuff around. The trucks come in through the narrow roads which is always a bit of a headache. Sometimes we just sit and have tea when it is quiet. The rain makes things messy around here because of the mud near the entrance. We don't have a big team or fancy computers. I usually just write things down in a ledger. Berhampore is a busy place but our corner feels a bit more regular. We try to keep things organized but with steel it is hard. There is always some dust or scrap metal lying around. We don't really do any big ads. People just know us because we have been at this spot for years. If you walk past the police station and keep going toward Banjetia, you will see the sign. It is a bit faded now but still there. That is pretty much all there is to it. Just a local shop doing its thing day after day.
