Tara Metal & Block Industries

We are Tara Metal & Block Industries, and you’ll find our yard out on Behrampur Road in Awankha. It’s an industrial sort of area, which suits what we do perfectly. We spend our days working with metal and making blocks for different building projects. It gets pretty dusty and loud around here with the machinery running, but that’s just the nature of the business. We started this place because there was a need for these materials in the local area, and we had the space to do it. We don't have a big front office or a sales team. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just see us in our work gear handling the materials or loading up a truck. The weather affects us quite a bit, especially when it rains on Behrampur Road and things get a bit muddy. We just keep moving though. The blocks we make are standard stuff, but we take care to make sure they’re solid. It’s hard work and the hours can be long depending on what orders we have to get out. We’ve been in Awankha for a while now and know most of the people who come by regularly. We aren't looking to grow into some giant factory; we like the size we are. It’s manageable and we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. If you need blocks or metalwork, this is where we do it all. We’ve got a dog that hangs around the yard too, he mostly just sleeps under the trucks.
