We started this education center right here in Kamalpur, near Nimita. Murshidabad is where we all live, so it made sense to set up something close to home. Most of us grew up around here and saw that kids needed a bit more help with their studies after school. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where students can come to learn. The building is simple, located in the village area. We handle the day-to-day work ourselves, from keeping the rooms clean to talking with parents who drop by. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets a bit dusty because of the roads, but we manage. We aren’t a big city chain. It’s just us trying to run a decent place for the local kids. People know where to find us in the village. It’s quiet mostly, except when the students arrive and things get a bit loud. We focus on the books and getting the lessons done. There’s a lot of paperwork with being a private limited company, which we handle from this address. It takes a lot of time, but we keep at it. If you walk down the main path in Kamalpur, you’ll see us. We’ve been here for a bit now, just doing our thing and helping out where we can. It’s a lot of work but it feels right to be doing it in our own neighborhood. We spend our evenings checking the registers and making sure the lessons for tomorrow are ready for the morning shift.
