Jangipur Ideal School

Basudebpur is a quiet enough area in Raghunathganj, and that’s where you’ll find our school. We’ve been operating here for a while now. The building is a simple structure that looks like most of the other schools in this district. We have several classrooms that stay pretty full during the day. The sound of children reciting their lessons usually carries out into the street. We have a small playground, though it’s mostly just dirt and a few patches of grass where the kids play football when the weather is dry. Our teachers live in the nearby villages and they walk or ride their bikes to get here every morning. There isn't anything particularly special about the way we do things. We follow the standard books and make sure the students do their homework. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the path to the school a bit muddy, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We have a small office where we keep all the records and files in metal cabinets. It’s a very straightforward place. We don't have air conditioning or fancy computers in every room, but we have enough to get the teaching done. Jangipur Ideal School is just a local place for local kids to get an education without any unnecessary bells and whistles. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and do the work that needs doing.
