Aurangabad B-Ed & D-Ed College

If you head down Suit Road in Aurangabad, you’ll find us easily enough. We are out here in Murshidabad, away from the big city rush. This college is where folks come when they want to get into teaching. It’s a plain building, nothing too flashy about it. We have students coming from all over the district, some taking long bus rides just to get here. The classrooms are basic, but they serve the purpose. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We spend a lot of time on the paperwork and the daily lessons. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but that's just how it is in this part of West Bengal. There’s always a bit of tea being made in the back room for the staff. We don’t really do big speeches or anything like that. Students just come in, attend their lectures, and head home. It feels like a small community because everyone knows each other’s names. Sometimes the local traffic on Suit Road makes it a bit noisy during the day, but we’ve gotten used to it by now. It’s just a place for people who want to work in schools one day. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the schedule. It's hard work, but we are here every day from morning until late, keeping things moving.
