Samriddha Kisan Producer Company Limited

We are based at House Number 45 in Tikari, Manpur, which is where Samriddha Kisan Producer Company Limited operates. It’s not really a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a place where some of us local farmers get together to talk about our crops and try to figure out how to do things a bit better. Tikari is a quiet area, and most of us have lived here for a long time. We spend most of our days out in the fields, so if you come by the house and nobody is there, we are probably just down the road checking on the irrigation or the soil. We wanted to have a way to help each other out instead of everyone trying to sell their stuff on their own. It gets pretty hot during the summer months here in Manpur, so we usually do our meetings early in the morning or late in the evening when it cools down a bit. There’s always plenty of work to do, from fixing tools to sorting out the paperwork that comes with running a producer company. We aren't experts at the office stuff, but we know the land well. It’s just a group of neighbors trying to make sure our families can keep farming for years to come. Sometimes we just sit around and talk about the weather, because that is what matters most to us anyway.
