You’ll find us over at 18 Pipewala Compound. It’s right on Shahid Bhagat Singh Road in Colaba. If you know where Camy Wafers is, we are basically right across from them. The smell of snacks sometimes drifts over here. Being in Colaba, there’s always a lot of activity outside. Our clinic is tucked into the compound, so it stays a bit quieter than the main street. We spend our time working with people who need to move better. The equipment takes up most of the space. It’s not a huge office but we make it work. We’ve got the mats and the tables all set up. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because people come in with dusty shoes from the road. Most of the folks who come here live nearby or work in the shops around Colaba. We see the same delivery guys every afternoon. It feels like a small community even though it’s a big city. We keep the windows shut when the traffic gets too loud on Shahid Bhagat Singh Road. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. It’s just us doing the physiotherapy work. We keep the schedule in a big book on the desk. It’s a straightforward way to run things. Some days the compound is busy with trucks, but we just wait for them to pass.
