This part of Chunabhatti is always on the move. We’ve been operating out of this shop for some time now. It’s a practical space designed for physiotherapy, not for looking pretty. We have the usual equipment like heat pads and exercise bands scattered around. The sound of the traffic on V. N. Purav Marg is like background music to us by now. We see a lot of workers from the industries across the street who have strained their backs or shoulders. It’s a straightforward business where we just do the task at hand. There’s no corporate hierarchy here. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for our first appointment. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door, but we just mop it up and keep going. The neighbors in the Sheetal Building are good people. We’ve become a part of the daily life in Chunabhatti. People know they can just drop by and ask about their injuries. We keep the conversation simple and the advice practical. It’s a busy, unpolished place where real work happens every single day. We don't need much more than that to feel like we're doing our part. It is just a small shop on a busy road, but it keeps us very busy.
