Yash Impex

Yash Impex operates out of Office No.3A in Anand Villa, which is on 12 Lajpatrai Road in Vile Parle West. It’s a quiet enough building for a busy city like Mumbai. Our office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit all our desks and filing cabinets inside. Most of the day is spent on the phone or sending out emails to coordinate different shipments. Being in Vile Parle is nice because it’s a good neighborhood with plenty of places to grab a quick bite. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small team handling import and export stuff. There’s usually a stack of documents on the main table that needs signing or sorting. We have a window that looks out onto the street, and it’s nice to see the trees every now and then. Sometimes things get stressful when a container is delayed or some paperwork gets stuck, but we just handle it as it comes. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, checking numbers and making sure addresses are correct. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle in the corner for when we need a break. We’ve been at Anand Villa for a while now and the locals know us. It’s a steady job in a comfortable spot, and we just try to keep things moving along smoothly.
