Jsr Marble Cottage

Jsr Marble Cottage is located over in Malad East. We have been working with stone and marble for quite some time now. Being in Malad East means we see a lot of different people coming through. The shop is full of slabs and offcuts of various types of marble. It’s heavy stuff and moving it around takes a lot of effort. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical yard where the real work happens. You can hear the saws running most of the afternoon. Cutting marble is a messy job with all the water and stone dust. We just focus on getting the pieces cut to the right size. Sometimes customers come in with very specific ideas and we try to match what they want with what we have in stock. Malad East is a busy part of town so there’s always something going on outside. We stay busy with the local projects around here. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy sales people. It’s just us doing the labor. We keep the marble organized as best as we can but it’s a lot of weight to shift. The days are long especially when we have big orders to finish. We’ve been part of the local area for a while and people know where to find us. It’s just a straightforward business where we handle stone every day. We just try to get the measurements right and keep moving.
