Our office is tucked away in Gandhi Nagar over in the Worli area. It’s an old part of the city, and things can feel a bit crowded sometimes. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. It’s not one of those tall glass buildings you see in the newer parts of town. We’re in a more lived-in neighborhood where you can hear the local street noise all day long. The office itself is pretty basic. We have desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of paperwork. Usually, we start the day by catching up on what needs to be done. There’s no big corporate culture here; we just talk to each other across the room. Worli is a central spot, so we see all kinds of people passing through Gandhi Nagar. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall or a tiffin brought from home. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes it a bit tricky to get into the lane, but we manage. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy furniture. We’d rather just focus on the tasks at hand. It gets a bit hectic when multiple things are happening at once, but that’s just how it goes. Most of us have been working here together for years, so we know how to stay out of each other's way while still getting everything finished by the end of the shift.
