Yallow Stone & Marble

Our business is located over in Vile Parle East. We are right on the East Circle Road, near the Sajjan Rao Circle. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of traffic going past the door. Yallow Stone & Marble is where we keep all the heavy slabs and samples. Marble is heavy stuff, so we spend a lot of time moving pieces around and showing the different patterns to anyone who stops by. The shop floor is always a bit dusty from the stone, and we wear heavy boots because you don’t want to drop anything on your toes. The circle outside is a bit of a landmark, so it’s easy to tell people how to find us. The sun hits the front of the building in the morning, making the marble look quite bright. We aren't big on decorations here; the stone is really the only thing to see. It’s just us and the slabs of rock all day long. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s not too hot and watch the cars go around the circle while we drink tea. It’s a steady kind of life, working with materials that have been around for thousands of years. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just provide the stone and marble that people are looking for and help them load it up. It has been our daily routine for a long time in this part of Vile Parle and we like it here.
