Xavier Clinic

In the Ganesh Co-Operative Housing Society, you’ll find Xavier Clinic at Building No. 1. This is in the Chembur Vashinaka area, really close to the HPCL Colony. Because we’re inside a housing society, the vibe is a bit more neighborly than a big hospital. We get a lot of local residents coming in for their regular check-ups or when their kids have a fever. The clinic is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for the older folks to get inside. It’s a modest space with a few consulting rooms and a small pharmacy area. Chembur can be quite dusty with all the industry around, so we’re constantly wiping down the counters and the chairs. The waiting room has a TV that’s usually playing the news at a low volume. We’ve got a lot of plants near the entrance that we try to keep alive, though they don't always do well in the heat. The staff here is mostly local, so we end up chatting about neighborhood news between patients. It’s a small team, and we all pitch in with the cleaning and the paperwork. The HPCL colony nearby brings in a lot of workers too. It’s just a regular local clinic where we try to keep things moving as best we can despite the daily hiccups of city life. We’ve been in Ganesh Society for a long time and we like the community.
