Writemind Consultancy is based over in Tardeo, right inside the Sobo Central Mall on the second floor. Being in a mall is a bit different than a regular street-side office. You have the constant hum of the air conditioning and the sound of shoppers downstairs on weekends. We are situated on Madan Mohan Malviya Road, which is always busy with cars and taxis. Our space isn't huge, but it fits our team just fine. We spend most of our hours looking at screens and sorting out whatever projects are on the table. It gets a bit repetitive, but that's how it goes in consultancy. The commute can be a bit of a pain depending on the train schedules, but we've all gotten used to the Mumbai rush. We like that there are plenty of places to grab a quick snack or coffee nearby since we’re in the mall area. Our office isn't overly decorated; we mostly just have the essentials like desks and a printer that occasionally jams. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. We don't really go in for the whole high-end corporate image. We just show up, do the work that’s expected of us, and head home. It's a steady routine in a fast-moving city. Some days are longer than others, especially when deadlines loom and the mall starts closing up for the night. It's just a job and we do it here.
