Stonearrt

Stonearrt is located at 67/68 Bharat Bazar in Gandhi Nagar, right on Dainik Shivneri Marg in Worli. Our place is in a busy market area where there is always something going on. We work with a lot of different stones and decorative pieces. It’s a bit of a workspace and a bit of a storage area combined. We have piles of stone samples and larger pieces scattered around the floor. It’s not the cleanest place because cutting and moving stone always makes a lot of dust. We don’t mind it, though, as it’s part of the job. Most of our day is spent talking to designers or people who are building their homes. They come in with sketches, and we see what we can find in our stacks that fits their idea. We’ve been here in Worli for a good bit of time. The building is old but it works fine for us. We don't have a lot of workers, just a few guys who know how to handle the heavy stuff without getting hurt. It can be hard on the back, but we are used to it. We don't really do much in the way of sales pitches. We just let people look at the stone and decide for themselves. Sometimes the weather makes it tough when it’s humidity is high, but we keep the fans going. It’s just a basic way to earn a living. We like the neighborhood.
