Whitone Marbles

At 30 Dhar S V Road, you will find our marble yard inside the Ramani Compound. It’s a dusty place because of all the stone we move around. We have slabs of marble leaning against each other in long rows. Some are white and some have veins of different colors through them. When the trucks come in with new stock, the whole place gets even more crowded. We use heavy cranes to lift the bigger pieces because they weigh a lot. Whitone Marbles is mostly about the stone itself, not about having a shiny showroom. We walk around the yard with customers who are looking for something for their floors or kitchens. Your shoes will definitely get white dust on them if you stay long. The sun beats down on the compound during the day, making the stones hot to the touch. We have a small desk where we do the counting and the bills, but we aren't there much. Most of the time we are out back checking the edges of the slabs for any cracks. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful moving so nothing breaks. S V Road is always busy with traffic, so we hear the horns all day while we work. It’s just a regular stone business where we handle what comes from the quarries. We’ve been in this compound for quite a while now and we just keep doing what we know about marble and granite.
