Welfare Clinic

Welfare Clinic is tucked away on M R Sawant Road in Madam Wadi. We are right behind the Lucky Hotel off S V Road in Bandra West. If you know Bandra, you know how packed and lively it gets around here. S V Road is always a bit of a mess with the traffic, so being slightly back on M R Sawant Road makes it a little quieter, though you can still hear the rickshaws honking. The clinic itself is modest. We don't have those big leather couches or fancy coffee machines. It’s just a waiting area with some plastic chairs and the doctor’s room. People usually find us because they live in the wadi or they’ve seen our sign while heading to the hotel. We see kids with scraped knees, older folks coming for their blood pressure checks, and everything in between. The humidity in Bandra can be tough on the building, so there’s always a bit of paint peeling somewhere that we need to fix eventually. We keep things simple here. The staff knows most of the regulars by name now. It feels more like a neighborhood spot than a medical facility sometimes. We open early most days and stay until the last patient is seen. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. If you’re wandering around Madam Wadi and need a quick checkup, we are usually around the corner near the hotel.
