Vitek Foods is located in Andheri West over in the Chamundipura area at 312-E Laggere. It’s a bit of a tight space considering how much we try to get done in a day. We have a few rooms dedicated to processing and packing and it gets pretty crowded when the whole crew is in. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass building. We’re just a group of people working in a busy part of Andheri. The street outside is usually blocked with rickshaws and delivery bikes making it hard to get around. Inside we try to keep things as clean as possible because that’s important in the food business. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the seals are tight on everything. It’s repetitive work but someone has to do it right. We have a small kettle in the corner for tea and that’s where most of our meetings happen, just standing around while the water boils. There isn't much to say about us other than we work hard and try to stay organized. Some days are better than others and sometimes the machines break down at the worst possible time. We just fix them and keep going. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things for us. This is just where we spend our days making sure the orders are ready to go out. It gets noisy but it's home for us.
