Vishwas Granite

Vishwas Granite is located at Shop No 12 on Azad Road, right by the airport side. It’s a bit of a unique spot because you can hear the planes taking off and landing all day long. We are part of the Marble Market near the highway in Ville Parle. The Centaur Hotel is a good landmark if someone is trying to find us for the first time. We spend most of our time out in the yard dealing with granite slabs. It’s a heavy business. Every time a new truck arrives, it’s a big production to get everything unloaded and lined up correctly. The space is a bit tight sometimes, but we make it work. Ville Parle is a busy part of the city, so there’s always something happening on Azad Road. We get a mix of people coming in—some are builders and some are just regular folks looking to fix up their kitchens. We don’t use any fancy language or try to act like a big corporation. We’re just a local shop trying to sell stone. Our clothes are usually covered in some kind of stone dust by noon, and that’s fine by us. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it at this location for a good while. The heat can be tough in the summer, but we just keep going. Even when the planes get loud, we just keep talking and helping whoever is standing in front of us.
