Beauty Granites

We’ve been here on Azad Road for quite a while now, right near the Milan Subway. It’s a busy spot, especially with the traffic that piles up around the subway area during the rush. Our place is basically filled with stacks of granite slabs. You walk in and there’s stone everywhere you look. Some of it is dusty because that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with heavy stone all day long. We spend a lot of our time moving things around to show people what’s at the bottom of the pile. It’s hard work on the back, honestly. Vile Parle East is a good neighborhood, but the humidity here really gets to you when you’re out on the floor. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights or anything like that. It’s just us, the slabs, and the noise from the street outside. People usually find us because they’re driving past the subway and see the stones leaning against the walls. We keep a ledger for everything, though sometimes things get a bit disorganized when it’s a busy Tuesday. Most of the guys working here have been around for years, so we know which slab is which even if they look the same to someone else. It’s just a regular day-to-day business where we deal with what’s in front of us. No big corporate meetings, just figuring out how to get a heavy piece of rock onto a truck without any cracks.
