We are located right in the middle of Andheri West, specifically in the Lokhandwala area, which is always moving. Running this place means getting up way before the sun is even out to make sure the crates are coming in. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The floor is usually covered in some stray leaves or bits of onion skin by noon, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a fancy display; we just put the stuff in the bins and hope people find what they need. Andheri is a busy place, and the people here are always in a hurry. They want their spinach and their tomatoes fast so they can get back to their lives. We have a few fans running to keep the air moving, but it still gets warm in the afternoons. Sometimes the crates are stacked so high you can’t see the back wall. It’s just me and a couple of boys who help with the weighing and the bagging. We don't talk much during the rush hours because there’s no time. We’ve been at this spot in Lokhandwala for a while, so we know which days are going to be a mess and which days will be quiet. It’s just a regular shop for people who need their greens. Nothing complicated about it, just hard work and early mornings.
