Vasundhara Marbles

If you’ve ever been stuck at the light near the Traffic Police Chowky in Mulund West, you’ve probably seen Vasundhara Marbles. We are right there where all the action is. It’s a busy corner, and we’re usually out front moving slabs or unloading a truck. It’s heavy work, and there’s always a bit of white dust on our shoes. We’ve been dealing in stone for a long time now. People come in looking for something specific for their floors or counters, and we just show them what we have in the yard. We don’t have a fancy air-conditioned gallery. It’s mostly just the slabs leaning against the walls and us with a tape measure. The sun gets hot in the afternoon, so we usually have some tea under the shade. It’s a straightforward business. We talk to the contractors, the homeowners, and the guys driving the tempos. Every piece of marble is different, and we enjoy seeing the patterns in the stone when we wash the dust off. The traffic outside can be a nightmare sometimes, especially during peak hours, but it means plenty of people see us. We don’t do much advertising. We just stay open, keep the stock moving, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a bit gritty and loud, but that’s just how a marble yard is. We like being a part of this busy Mulund street and serving the people who live nearby.
