Vardhman Lime & Sanitary Wares

Our shop is at number 7 in the 158 building, which most people know as Shri Sai Krish in Dadar West. We have been here selling lime and all sorts of sanitary items for a long time. It is a small shop but we pack a lot of stuff inside. You will see pipes, taps, and bags of lime stacked up against the walls. Dadar is always crowded, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We mostly deal with local plumbers and people living nearby who are fixing up their bathrooms. It’s not a fancy showroom with lights and displays. It is more of a practical place where you come to get what you need for a repair. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter talking to customers or checking the stock. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in traffic and things show up late, which is just part of being in this area. We don't spend money on advertising because people know where we are. If someone needs a specific valve or a bag of lime, they know Vardhman is here. We keep our own records in big ledgers and try to help people find the right parts. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. We’ve been part of this street for years now and know almost everyone who walks by. Just a shop like any other.
