Vaidya Eye Hospital

The hospital is located at A-15/16 in Sitladevi Society, which most people around Andheri know as Doctors Corner. It’s right opposite Indian Oil Nagar on the Andheri Link Road, so the traffic outside is almost always moving or stuck in a jam. We spend our days dealing with everything related to eyes. People come in complaining about blurry vision or needing new glasses, and sometimes it is more serious stuff that requires a bit more time and care. The waiting room has these chairs that have been there for a while, and there’s usually a stack of old magazines that nobody really reads because they’re too busy on their phones or worrying about their checkup. The light inside is kept a certain way because of the eye exams. It’s a busy spot in Andheri, and sometimes the noise from the Link Road drifts in whenever the door opens. We have a routine where we start seeing patients one after the other, and by midday, the place is usually full. It’s not a very big society, Sitladevi, but it’s easy to find once you get to the Indian Oil Nagar area. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just the staff here making sure the files are in order and the equipment is wiped down. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a lot of paperwork to finish after the last patient finally leaves in the evening. It is a busy place.
