Drushti is located at G/131 on Andheri Church Street. It’s a ground-floor unit, which is nice because we don’t have to deal with any stairs. The street itself is fairly narrow and can get quite congested when there are services at the church. We’ve been sitting in this spot for a good while. The front door is a simple metal gate that we slide open every morning around nine. Inside, the space is pretty small. We have just enough room for our equipment and a couple of stools for us to sit on. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a small clock that runs five minutes fast. Andheri Church Street has a lot of foot traffic, so we see a lot of people passing by our window. Sometimes we recognize the regulars who walk their dogs or go to the market every day. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have a small tub of tools and a desk that’s a bit cluttered with papers and pens. When it rains, the sound on the street changes, and everything gets a bit damp, but we stay dry inside G/131. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s a quiet way to run a business, just doing what we do every day without much fuss or noise. We like it that way.
