Comfort Eye

We've been at Chhath Apartment for a while now. Plot No 3 on Dharnidhar Road isn't the quietest spot in Mumbai, but it works for us. Mostly we just deal with people coming in for new glasses or because they can't see the television as well as they used to. My name's on the door but really it’s just me and a couple of others helping out. We have a lot of frames on the shelves, some old and some new. It gets a bit crowded in here when three people walk in at once. Mumbai is always hot, so the fan is usually running. I don't really know what to say about us, other than we do what we do. We check eyes, fix broken hinges, and try to make sure your prescription is right. People from the neighborhood know where to find us. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage. If you need a simple eye test or just want to look at some frames, you can just stop by. There's no fancy waiting room here. Just a few chairs and the testing equipment. It's been the same for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to make sure the people living around here have somewhere to go when their glasses snap or their vision gets blurry. That’s pretty much the whole story.
