Vaibhav Polyclinic

Vaibhav Polyclinic is situated right on S. V. Road in Vileparle West, specifically in the Irla area. We are directly opposite the Irla Nursing Home, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. S. V. Road is notoriously loud and busy, so there is a constant stream of cars and rickshaws going by outside our door. Being a polyclinic, we have different things going on at different times. It’s a place where various doctors come and go throughout the week. I usually manage the front desk and try to keep the appointments from overlapping too much, though it’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. The waiting room isn't fancy, just some plastic chairs and a water dispenser that usually needs a new bottle. Irla is a great place to be because everything is so close, but the parking is a total nightmare for anyone visiting. We tell most people to just take a rickshaw if they can. Inside, the walls are painted a light blue that was supposed to be calming, but it’s faded a bit over the years. We see a lot of families from around Vileparle who just need a quick check-up. There isn't any corporate polish here; it's just a regular clinic where we try to help people feel a bit better. Sometimes we run late because a patient had a lot of questions, but that’s just how it goes in a neighborhood clinic. We just do our best every day.
