V K Shah Clinic

This clinic is located at 29 Rozari Chawl in the Mazgaon area, specifically near Sugarnagar. We are right on Memco Road and situated almost directly opposite the railway station. Because of the station, the area is constantly moving. You can hear the trains and the crowds of people coming and going all day long. The clinic is inside a chawl, which gives it a very traditional Mumbai feel. It is not a modern medical center with glass walls. It is a simple, old-fashioned room where people come for help. The space is small and we have to use it efficiently. Most of our patients are people who live in the chawls nearby or workers from the local businesses in Mazgaon. It is a very busy, noisy neighborhood, but inside the clinic, we try to keep things moving steadily. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it is sturdy. Finding us is easy because of the station across the street. People often drop in while they are commuting. We don’t have any fancy bells or whistles. It is just a desk, some medicine, and a place for the doctor to sit. It’s a very grounded, local business that deals with the everyday health of the people who work and live around Memco Road. We are just part of the daily landscape of the Mazgaon station area, doing what we do every day.
