V. A. Mayekar Optician Contact Lens Clinic is located in Shop No.05 of the Anurag Society. This is on Plot No. 282 in Kandivali West, right in the Sector No. 5 Charkop Market area. If you know the market, you know it is always packed with people buying vegetables and household items. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We have been helping people with their vision for quite some time. We have racks of frames on the walls and a small room in the back for testing eyes. It’s not a huge space, so things are tucked in pretty tight. We have different kinds of lenses and contact lenses too. Most of our customers are locals who are out doing their shopping in Charkop and stop by to get their glasses fixed or to order a new pair. The bell on the door rings a lot because people are always popping in to ask questions. Sometimes the glass cases get smudged with fingerprints, so we are always wiping them down. It’s a busy little optician shop. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know about frames and prescriptions. We take the measurements and help people pick out something that fits their face. It’s a practical shop in a very busy market. We just do our thing every day.
