Universal Impex

Universal Impex is tucked away in Sector 17 over in Prabhadevi. It’s a decent enough area to work in, though the traffic can be a real headache some afternoons when everyone is trying to leave at once. We handle a lot of import and export stuff, which basically means we’re always looking at containers, shipping documents, and customs forms. The office is pretty basic, just desks and computers and a lot of cold coffee sitting around. We’ve been in Prabhadevi for a while and have seen the sector change as new buildings go up and old ones get renovated. We aren't doing anything flashy or high-tech here. It’s mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without getting stuck at the port or delayed by paperwork. Sometimes things go wrong with a shipment and we have to spend the whole day on the phone fixing it, which is just part of the daily grind. It’s a small team of us here in the office. We know each other’s habits well and we just get on with the work. We don't have a big corporate manual or any fancy mission statements. We just use our common sense and work through the pile of papers on our desks until the day is done. Sector 17 is a good base for us because it’s central enough that we can get around the city when we need to visit the docks. It’s a regular business life, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep our heads down and keep the goods moving.
