Oxycare

Oxycare is located at 3 Deonar Ujagar Chambers, which is right across from the Deonar Bus Depot. It’s a pretty easy spot to get to if you’re taking the bus, as you just walk across the road and there we are. We handle a lot of medical-related supplies, mostly things people need for breathing or general home care. It’s a busy area with all the buses coming and going all day, so there is always a lot of noise outside our windows. Inside the shop, we keep things organized so we can find what people need quickly. People often come in looking for stuff for their parents or older relatives who aren't feeling very well. We try our best to have what’s needed on the shelves. It’s not a huge shop, just a practical space in the Ujagar Chambers building. We spend most of our time checking the inventory and making sure everything is ready for when the next person walks in. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the boxes stacked up, but we manage to get around. Being near the depot means we see a lot of different people from the neighborhood every day. We’ve been here long enough that the bus drivers and regular commuters know our sign. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it more than what it is. We just focus on getting the equipment out to the families who are waiting.
