Our place is in the Bhandup Industrial Estate, specifically at units 1041-42. It is part of the Pannalal Silk Mill Compound on L.B.S. Marg. If you know Bhandup, you know it is mostly factories and warehouses around here. Unitech Transformers Pvt Ltd is basically a workshop. There is a lot of heavy lifting and the smell of oil and metal everywhere. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer. We have been here a long time. The compound is old, and you have to navigate through a lot of trucks to get to our door. We do not have a shiny reception area. Usually, you will find someone in overalls or holding a tool. It is honest work. Transformers are what we do, and it is not always clean or easy. We deal with the noise of the machines every day. Sometimes the rains make it hard to move stuff in the yard, but we manage. L.B.S. Marg is always packed with traffic, so we try to get our loading done early. It is just a group of people trying to make things that work. We do not have time for fancy talk. If you come by, you will see exactly what we are doing. No secrets here. Just a lot of copper and steel being put together in a crowded industrial estate.
