Larsen&Toubro is tucked away over here on St. Francis Road in Vileparle West. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy it gets around here. Our office is at A-2 110 in Lohiyanagar, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. We are just a local team doing our daily tasks. It’s not like those shiny offices you see in the movies. We have desks piled with papers and a fan that makes a clicking noise when it’s on high. Mumbai 56 has a specific vibe, and we feel like we are a small part of that energy. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on stuff that needs to get out the door. It gets loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on what’s in front of us. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to. We prefer just being regular people. We’ve been at this address for some time, so the neighbors know us. It’s a decent place to be, even if the commute can be a headache. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping our bit of the business going. If the tea man is late, that’s our biggest drama of the day. It’s just us, working hard in Vileparle.
