U V Foods

We’ve been running U V Foods out of Mazgaon 3 for quite some time now. It isn't a massive operation or anything like that. Just a few of us here every morning getting things ready before the sun even gets too high. People around Mazgaon know where we are, though we don't really have a big flashing sign or anything fancy like the shops in the newer malls. Most days it’s just about keeping the kitchen moving and making sure everything is packed right. We handle a lot of the work ourselves, from cleaning up the floors to checking the inventory at the end of the day. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit of a mess, but we still open up. It’s a job, you know? We started because we needed something to do and we knew how to handle food. It grew a bit, but we kept it simple. There’s no big corporate office behind us. It’s just this one spot. We spend most of our time in the back where the heat is. Sometimes we talk to the delivery guys about the traffic or how the weather is changing. It's a quiet kind of life at U V Foods. We don't try to be something we are not. If you walk by Mazgaon 3, you'll see us just doing the daily routine. Nothing more, nothing less. Just people working and getting things done for the neighborhood folks who stop by.
