Trupti Gruhudyog

Trupti Gruhudyog is based out of Flat No. 16 in the Dhanlaxmi Apartment on Jail Road. We’re right in the Pragati Nagar area, not too far from Pawar Wadi. It’s basically a home-run setup that’s grown quite a bit over time. We started very small, just making things in the kitchen, and now we use most of the flat for our daily work. The smell of whatever we’re making usually fills the whole hallway, which the neighbors don’t seem to mind too much. It gets pretty crowded in here with all the raw materials and the finished packets waiting to go out for delivery. We don’t have a storefront, so most of our stuff goes out to local shops or people who know us directly. It’s a lot of manual work, cleaning, sorting, and packing everything by hand. We usually have a few local women helping out during the busy hours in the afternoon. The kitchen is always going, and there’s always a long list of orders pinned to the fridge with a magnet. It’s a bit chaotic during the festival seasons, but we manage to get through it somehow. We’ve lived in Nashik for ages, and this neighborhood feels like home to us. We don’t use big machines or anything; it’s all very traditional and simple. People like that it comes from a real home and not a giant factory.
