Our place is over in Ahmedabad, right in the heart of the old city area at Fort Verai Matani Pole. We are up on the second floor of house number 59. If you know Astodia, you know the streets are narrow and always full of energy. It’s a bit of a climb up to the second floor, but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here. The building has that old Ahmedabad character, with thick walls and a bit of dust that seems to find its way in no matter what you do. We spend our days handling whatever comes across our desks. It’s a simple office, nothing fancy or modern. We have our equipment and our workspace, and that’s about it. The sounds from the pole downstairs—people talking, scooters zooming by—always filter up to us. It makes you feel connected to the city. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things get done. Some days the power might flicker or the stairs feel a bit steeper than usual, but it’s our home base. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors all know us. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a new corporate park, but it suits what we do just fine. We just keep our heads down and work on our tasks until it is time to close up the office for the evening.
