Meter Down

We are located on the first floor of Kothari Nivas, at No 12 on Dongri Jail Road. It’s a very active part of the city, and there is never a quiet moment outside our windows. The street is always full of traffic, vendors, and people going about their business. Our office is a bit small, but it works for what we need. We have desks pushed together and a lot of papers and books piled up. We call the business Meter Down. It’s a place where we do a lot of talking and planning. Since we are on Dongri Jail Road, we are right in the thick of things. The stairs up to the office are a little narrow, so we have to be careful when we’re moving stuff in and out. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some old fans that rattle a bit and computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people who drop by. We know the local area well, including where to get the best snacks when we have a long afternoon. It gets a bit chaotic when we are busy, but we manage to stay organized enough to get the work done. We’ve been in this building for quite a while and have seen many neighbors come and go. It’s a simple office for a small team that likes being close to the street.
