Tija Foods

We are located at Plot No.105 in the Acme Industrial Park. It’s right on Ib Patel Road in Goregaon East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how hectic it can get. There’s always a truck blocking the road or someone moving pallets around. Tija Foods started here because we needed a central spot to handle all our food products. The warehouse is big and can get quite stuffy in the monsoon season, but we have our routine down. We spend most of our day checking the stock and making sure everything is packed right. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving boxes from one corner to another. We aren't some big corporate entity with a glass building. Our walls are just plain concrete and we’ve got metal racks everywhere. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. We eat lunch together and complain about the traffic on the way in. It’s a regular job for us. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures. We just focus on the orders that come in every morning. Being in Goregaon East means we are close to everything, which helps when we need to send things out quickly. It’s noisy and dusty, but it’s our place and we’re proud of the work we put in every day. Sometimes it feels like we’re just another small part of this massive city, but that’s alright with us.
