Our office is tucked away in Serenity Tower-A, over on 2nd Hasnabad Lane. It’s Flat 402, so we are up on the fourth floor of Wing-A. It feels a bit more like a home than a big corporate office because it’s a residential style building. Being next to Mario Miranda Chowk makes it easy to give people directions, though the lane itself can get a bit tight with parked cars. We’ve got a view of the street from the balcony, which is where most of us go when we need a five-minute break from the screens. It’s quiet enough most days, except when there’s a festival or something happening at the chowk. The tower is well-maintained, but we’ve definitely put our own stamp on the inside with too many books and loose papers. We spend a lot of time here, probably more than we should. The commute into this part of Mumbai is what it is, usually slow and loud. Once you get inside the building, things calm down a bit. We don't have a fancy lobby or a bunch of signs. It’s just a door with our name on it. Inside, it’s just the team sitting around a few big tables. We try to keep things simple. There’s a small kitchen area where the fridge usually has someone’s old lunch in it. It’s a practical place for us to work without all the unnecessary bells and whistles you see elsewhere.
