Our place is located in the Panalal Compound over in Bhandup West. If you know the Bhandup Industrial Estate, you know it is a pretty industrial part of town. We are at unit 4017. It is not exactly the quietest spot to work but it works well for Taj Frozen Foods India Pvt. Ltd. There are always trucks coming in and out because of the other businesses nearby. Inside our space, things stay pretty focused on the day-to-day tasks. We spend a lot of time checking on things and making sure everything is running the way it should be. It can get a bit loud with the machinery and the general buzz of the compound. We have a small team here and everyone knows their role. It is not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a practical workspace where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes we grab lunch from the small stalls just outside the gate. The Panalal Compound has its own rhythm and we have become a part of it over the years. We just try to keep our heads down and get the work finished before the evening traffic starts building up on the main road. It is a long day usually but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We handle what comes our way and keep things moving along.
