Tah Frozen Foods India Ltd is located at 209 in the Shiva Estate on Lake Road in Bhandup West. It is an industrial area, so it's not the prettiest place to look at, with all the concrete and the big trucks parked along the road. Since we deal with frozen foods, it is always really cold in certain parts of the building, which is actually quite nice when the Mumbai heat is at its worst. We have to wear jackets even when it's thirty degrees outside just to go into the storage areas. The estate is always buzzing with activity, and you can hear the sounds of forklifts and people shouting instructions throughout the day. Our office is a bit small and usually has a few stacks of inventory sheets waiting to be filed away. We spend a lot of time checking temperatures and making sure the trucks are cooled down before they get loaded. It’s a lot of physical work and the hours can be a bit strange depending on when the shipments come in. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception desk; we just have what we need to get the food moved from one place to another. Most of us have been working in the Bhandup area for a long time, so we know all the best places to grab a quick snack during our break. It’s just a regular job where we work hard and stay cool.
